This impressive technology provides a full and prescriptive treatment with visible results for anti-aging, pigmentation and acne. All technologies can be used as a stand-alone treatment or as part of a tailor made facial.

What does it do?

Rotational Diamond Microdermabrasion encourages skin cell renewal, reduces pores and congestion & improves fine lines.

Will it suit me?

It is suitable for any skin type.

It is not suitable for those with active Acne, pustules or papules, taking photosensitive or skin thinning medication, who have had a recent skin peel or a history of keloid scarring.

Other medical conditions may prevent treatment from being suitable – a full medical history will be carried out at the consultation.

Are there any side effects/risks?

You may experience bruising, skin sensitivity and redness but these are temporary.

How long does it take?

Each session takes 55 minutes depending on the area being treated. A course of 6 sessions x 1 weekly is recommended. Further courses can be added if necessary. Once you are happy with your skin’s condition, a maintenance session is advised 4-6 weekly or when required.

When are the results visible and how long will it last?

Visible improvement may be apparent immediately but will improve within a week. The duration of results vary and is influenced by external factors such as sun damage, skincare and smoking.

Is there any preparation/aftercare needed?

Avoid direct sunlight for 48 hrs prior to appointment.
After treatment avoid direct sunlight for 2 weeks and where possible in sunlight, shield face by wearing a hat. Avoid chlorinated water for 1 week. Use SPF 50 and moisturise as advised.
Drink at least 2 litres per day.

Is there any preparation/aftercare needed?

Post procedure you should wear no make up for at least 12 hours, cleanse with a soothing cleanser and tepid water and gently dry. Hyaluronic Acid can be used to hydrate the skin but active skincare e.g. Alpha or Beta Hydroxyl Acid, Vitamin A or C should not be applied for 3 days. Post treatment extreme temperatures, sauna, steam & jacuzzi etc and direct sunlight should be avoided. SPF 30 or above must be applied whilst any skincare perceived as “active” should not be applied for at least 2 days.
